Evan & Sean's Summer Wedding in Philadelphia was so much fun to be a part of. We started the day at the Navy Yard in South Philly as a perfect backdrop for this hilarious couple. There was hardly a break in the laughter all day! From the Uber ride to the German Society to the last dance by their amazing cover band these guys had me cracking up behind my camera!
Gretta & Joe decided to have their engagement shoot at Grounds for Sculpture outside of Trenton, NJ in July. It was the perfect day to make beautiful photographs. We even had a little rain shower just as the sun was setting and I was so happy when this couple ran into the rain instead of away from it! I'm so excited to photograph their wedding this weekend out at Glen Foerd Mansion, one of my favorite wedding venues in the Philadelphia area.
Philadelphia Wedding Transportation
Your wedding transportation has a much bigger effect on your wedding than you might think. While it's usually viewed as a simple way to get the wedding party around on the big day, it's actually a critical part of ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. Transportation can be used for things like shuttling guests in addition to taking the newlyweds and wedding party to the ceremony, spots for photography, and then to your reception venue in Philadelphia. It's all about up front communication when it comes to your specific needs...this will lead you to the most fitting limousine or party bus service in the area. When you're looking for a transportation service for your wedding, it's a good idea to ask them if they happen to have any packages available for this kind of event. This way, you can customize exactly what it is that you need without paying for extra time and possibly take advantage of extras such as decorations and beverages for the ride. When you're speaking to potential companies, it's also a good idea to ask if they have experience dealing with your venue. It's a definite plus if they do, as they will already be familiar with the tiny details for pick up and drop off. However, it's worthy to note that a truly great transport company will have great knowledge of the city no matter what. There are many different options for vehicles such as trolleys, vintage Philadelphia Car Service, limos, charter buses and party buses. Limousines provide an elegant appearance for these events while party buses offer spacious interiors that are perfect for the wedding party who will be in formal wear. Charter buses are an especially efficient and comfortable option if you're looking to shuttle guests for any portion of your wedding. Talk with providers about possibly coming to view the vehicle you're interested in before putting down a deposit or signing contracts so you have a crystal clear view of what to expect for your Philadelphia wedding. Philly Limo Service 2546 East Indiana Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19134 (215) 607-7222 When I visited to Masonic Temple in Philadelphia to check out the lighting situation before Ryan & Colin's Winter Wedding I was dumbfounded by the architecture and the details of this building, so diverse in every room. Every inch of the space was covered in ornate carvings and colorful accents! The day of the wedding we spent over an hour walking around the space, my favorite was the hallway with stars in the ceiling. Apparently there are over 500,000 LED lights in this place! Their ceremony was beautiful and sweet, with poems read by friends, in a lime green meeting room. And the location was perfect for two lawyers, right next to city hall, so we had to get those iconic images as well. My favorite moment of the evening was when Colin surprised Ryan with a fancy band from the Mummers Parade! These two really know how to have fun!
Ira & Yoseph's young love was so infectious! We had so much fun finding new spots around the arboretum to shoot! Every time I am there I find a new little treasure!
